Meet Jacob

Jacob was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming where he grew up watching his Dad, a jack of all trades, build and fix just about anything. He was 5 when his Dad began letting him use his power tools to make things in his woodworking shop. This was where his imagination was free and his love for creating things with his hands began. 

When starting out his career, Jacob spent several years working with the largest general contractor in the state of Wyoming, Kloefkorn and Ballard. He worked on several large scale projects including the Gertrude Krampet Theatre at Casper College, The Central Wyoming Boys and Girls Club, and the Casper Re-Entry Center. From there, he moved to Littleton, Colorado where he honed his carpentry skills in furniture repair and refinishing, as well as custom cabinetry and closets. He also owned and operated his own construction company there, before returning to Wyoming. 

Upon returning to Wyoming, he went to work as the Estate Manager for Mick and Susie McMurry. He was blessed to do many fun projects during this time including constructing dams and bridges, managing several additions to the buildings on the property, and maintaining the land and buildings on the 200+ acre property.

He has owned and operated Total Renovations & Design, now Carson & Co., with his wife Sadie since 2013.
